Title
[edit]The present article is called "Begum Inaara" but it's missing her "last name" if you will... since in history there were multiple begums whose name could have started with "Inaara", therefore request move in order to preempt any conflict. Gryffindor 00:24, 18 May 2006 (UTC)
- Another question is why this article is now called Begum Inaara Aga Khan while Begum is a title - and other titles are not mentioned in the name of articles (see: George I of Great Britain for King George I of Great Britain or maybe Charles XIII of Sweden for King Charles XIII of Sweden). --Sputnik(.de) 12:44, 15 June 2006 (UTC)
Titles are applied to consorts, Queen Sofia of Spain, Queen Anne-Marie of Greece, but that is irrelevant as the conventions don't apply to non-European royals, and even if they did AND Inaara was a monarch she would still have the title Begum in the name as the title is used for all monarchs ranking under King. - For the record: We already had the same discussion on the german Version of this article. Mrs. Aga Khan has adopted "Begum" as a legal surname. --84.150.22.23 12:39, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
Gabriele Homey
[edit]Can anyone provide proof that Gabriele Homey is the Begum Aga Khan. i.e. copy of birth certificate stating that name?
Inaara Aga Khan is no longer married to Prince Karim aga khan —Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.230.244.1 (talk) 22:24, 19 February 2008 (UTC)
I was very saddened to see someone has hacked into the article and pasted a comment that "she is also a professional prostitute." This doesn't reflect well on anybobody. by Vali Jamal, Kampala, Uganda jamalV@yahoo.com —Preceding unsigned comment added by 193.108.214.219 (talk) 15:24, 17 March 2009 (UTC)
Maybe, but it is damned funny!

Blatant advertising
[edit]Sentences like this: "Being raised in a warm and caring environment, the Begum and her brother, Joachim Thyssen, learned from their mother the values of commitment, courage, fair play and the need to help and protect those who are less fortunate and weak. " sound like self-marketing. The article has to be -almost- completely rewritten to correct that. Quest09 (talk) 11:43, 1 October 2011 (UTC)
